Bookgasm: Aubrey Jones

Here's another Bookgasm post featuring some outfits I created that were inspired by a character from Kim Curran's book, Shift. One of my favorite characters was Aubrey Jones. She was a spitfire and had this certain spunk that captures the hearts of numerous guys, including the protagonist, Scott Tyler.
Crazily Mismatched by arraabella featuring blue jackets
(1) She had cropped blonde hair, heavy, black eyeliner and crazy mismatched clothes: a blue military-styled jacket with a bright orange hoodie underneath; (2) cigarettes; (3) boots; (4) striped tights

I imagined Aubrey as this punk, English girl who doesn't follow the rules. So aside from the given descriptions, I improvised by adding a plaid skirt which will complete the look I visualized her wearing. I also made sure that I chose some boots with studded detail and a very edgy, cropped haircut. I wish I found a ragged tights or the one with holes to make the outfit look rougher. This is actually her daily work uniform. She's a rebel and hates authority. It obviously shows that she doesn't conform to the trends, hence the title.
Miss Jones by arraabella featuring imitation handbags
(1) blue trousers; (2) crisp, white shirt; (3) white ear phones

Here's another outfit of hers mentioned in the book. I wish I could have chosen some heels or a pair of flats but I see Aubrey fighting and catching other Shifters so most likely she has to run and be comfortable so I added some sneakers in a different hue to add her mismatched touch. But despite this tough facade, I still think that she is a Miss Jones--she's a girl at heart. I remember her room with fairy lights. So I added some cat's-eye glasses, a leather watch strap and bag.
So which of her looks would you wear?
Have a great day!
