Going Vintage

What I wore: dress Shopaholic (SM Girls Teens Wear) • blue belt Forever 21 • bag Alviero Martini • wedges Sorridere • earrings Vivilli • polka dot head band Claire's (Japan) • watch Gucci • bracelets & beaded necklace bought in Bangkok

I wore this one Sunday morning when I went to church with my family. I've always wanted to wear this dress but I always think of a different way to wear it in order to make it look new. Compared to the outfits here and here, I created a look has a different aura that is perfect for summer.

Since the dress have always reminded me of the kinds my late abuelita wore when she was young, I opted to create a classic look. I used accessories such as the beaded necklace, slim bangles and a headband to achieve a vintage vibe. To balance out a very colorful number, use a neutral tone bag and shoes, like I did, so that you will avoid overdoing it.

Unfortunately, I had problems with my first round of photos and lost them in the process that's why I had to re-shoot some of my outfits. You will notice that I'm still sporting my longer do on the following photos as compare to the previous ones. This is also to show you my cool specs from Romwe which I was not able to show on the first few photos. I apologize for the very noisy photo because it was taken from my phone.

Speaking of problems, my instagram account was randomly disabled last June 18, 2013. I did not post abusive or obscene content nor posted rude comments or bullied someone. I have been trying to contact Instagram through their Twitter account and even emailed them but have not received any response. Any users who have the same issue? I've been reading tweets that a lot of accounts have then again been disabled after the first temporary glitch last May. I need help in recovering my account and certainly do not know what to do anymore. Sigh.

Anyhow, I'm ignoring the negativity with a cheery disposition through this very sunny and bright outfit! After all, we have our own ways of coping up.
