What I wore: jacket vintage piece from Japan • top bought in Bangkok • skirt Forever 21
earrings Vivilli • necklace bought in Bangkok
Finally!!! I was able to post an outfit of the day! It's been ages since I've done that. Given the circumstances of not having my own camera (I just borrow my sister's every time), no one to take my photos or that time when I didn't go out that often, there's just no chance of sharing one. It made me sad that I wasn't able to juggle both topics I cater to my blog and at some point, it looked like I'm focus on books only. The realization set in when my cousin told my sister that I always post articles about books and seldom post something fashion-related. I thought that the Character Profiles I shared would do enough to make up for the months I have lacked sharing my looks. But yeah, technically it still revolves on books. *shrugs*
bag Michael Kors
pink boots Shubox (known as So You Shoes before)
As I have constantly shared before, I always love to plan my outfit and it is a must. I think it is the Capricorn in me that makes me want to set everything in order and hates on-the-spot choices most of the time. I have planned this look months ago and we were supposed to meet my cousins in Eastwood once again to walk Chloé and just to hang out. But it did not push through because of the heavy rain. So when my sister told us that Chloé is joining Pet Express' A Petrifying Trail, how can I not resist to finally sashay this look outdoors?
There's always something about a navy outer wear with polka dot prints combined with a color as vibrant as red or orange. It just goes so well together that my only problem left was the shoes I'm going to wear and the bag I'm going to use. Plus, it creates the perfect balance of showing off skin and it's a safe look if the weather suddenly changes. Well, you'll never know nowadays.
With the shoes, the color still complimented my look despite it being a softer shade. I also just want to take it out since it's been hiding in her box for a very long time now. I usually got a lot of awful stares, maybe some, I assumed, loves my shoes or some maybe thinking why on earth I was wearing it but you just have to toughen up and ignore those prying eyes. With my bag, I needed something spacious for my laptop since I did some tasks for work that I could not miss. It was quite heavy but I just had to carry on. I was getting used to bringing small purses nowadays that I felt a large bag would drag me along because of its weight. I don't know if I am just getting old or I just changed preferences when it comes to bags. Haha.
It felt like the first time to take my photos outside the comforts of my home. I was so conscious that people are watching that it took my walls down and the courage I was summoning. Oh well, I just had to do what I had to do.
Here I am with my cousin, Ysabelle, who will be parading with Chloé. Their costumes' theme was geishas hence her kimono. It was only fitting since my cousins are half-Japanese and we had to match Chloé attire with theirs.
Look how she's so grown up now and also created a blog for herself due to my influence. LOL.
I will be posting the photo diary soon which is full of adorable pets and their spooktastic costumes.
Hope you liked this look and have a great day!
