3.1 PHILLIP LIM FOR TARGET

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Wishlist by arraabella featuring a navy blue tuxedo jacket

Here are some of the pieces from the 3.1 Phillip Lim collection for Target and of course my wishlist. Though I haven't own one (yet), I have been a fan of the highly-coveted bags of 3.1 Phillip Lim. Now that they released designs for an affordable price, everyone is raving about it and I can't shake the feeling of badly wanting one even more (computing and converting now. LOL). To be honest, I almost filled this set with the whole collection but I had to trim it down and just include my personal favorites.

So tell me. Aren't you obsessed with them, too? Because I am! I can't stop gushing about the bags and the sweaters that perfectly matches the skirts! Of course, I also can't skip the dazzling dress and the terno (matching) suit piece. Too bad the bags are not available online. My dream bubble just popped and died. Sigh. How I wish I can get one of these. Enough drama! Anyway, what's your favorite?

NEW HARRY POTTER FILM

As this tweet from @LilyPotterish goes, "'Reenervate,' whispers J.K. Rowling. The Harry Potter fandom awakens." A lot of Harry Potter fans were wishing to have more 'Potter.' Hell, we just can't get enough. And last September 12, all hell broke loose as the news to another Potter film circulated every fandom and every social media. Warner Bros. Entertainment announced through their Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Tsujihara that they have expanded a creative partnership with J.K. Rowling. There will be a harry Potter spin-off series inspired by the Hogwarts textbook Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them and Newt Scamander's adventures. It is also said that Rowling has full control over the screenwriting and it has been on the works for over a year! J.K. can really keep a secret! Moreover:
Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where I was so happy for seventeen years, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world,” said Rowling. “The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt’s story will start in New York, seventy years before Harry’s gets underway.”
“It all started when Warner Bros. came to me with the suggestion of turning ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ into a film. I thought it was a fun idea, but the idea of seeing Newt Scamander, the supposed author of ‘Fantastic Beasts,’ realized by another writer was difficult. Having lived for so long in my fictional universe, I feel very protective of it and I already knew a lot about Newt. As hard-core Harry Potter fans will know, I liked him so much that I even married his grandson, Rolf, to one of my favourite characters from the Harry Potter series, Luna Lovegood.
As I considered Warners’ proposal, an idea took shape that I couldn’t dislodge. That is how I ended up pitching my own idea for a film to Warner Bros.
I particularly want to thank Kevin Tsujihara of Warner Bros. for his support in this project, which would not have happened without him. I always said that I would only revisit the wizarding world if I had an idea that I was really excited about and this is it.” (From Mugglenet)
I really can't wait how this will turn out. Knowing that J.K. has full control, I'm positive that it will be as good and as strong as the original series. I'm also excited to see the creatures turn to life in the films. So move over other fandoms, Queen J.K. and Harry Potter is back! ;) (kidding! peace and love to all the other fandoms I belong to!)

MEET CHRISTIAN GREY & ANASTASIA STEELE

For all the 50 Shades fans out there, if you still haven't heard (which I doubt), Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson have been cast to play the two main characters of the anticipated series. There has been a bit of clamor about the casting since a lot of fans were, I assumed, disappointed by these news.
But you might be familiar to them and might have seen them on the following? Let me refresh your memory.
(1) Actor: Charlie Hunnam
Where you've seen him: "Sons of Anarchy," "Pacific Rim," "Nicholas Nickleby," "Undeclared" and the British incarnation of "Queer as Folk." (source)

(2) Actress: Dakota Johnson
Where you've seen her: "Ben and Kate," "The Five-Year Engagement," "The Social Network," "Beastly." She's also the daughter of actress Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. (source)

So what do you guys think? Yay or Nay? Will they make it work and give justice to the characters or will it be another #booksarebetter result? Answer the poll here:
What do you think of the 50 Shades cast?
