Red Day

What I'm wearing: top Papaya (SM Surplus) • shorts bought in Bangkok
Beauty Mark: Majolica Majorca Lash and Brow Colorist • MAC Diva lipstick

There are days when you feel like you have nothing to wear which is ironic because your closet is full of clothes ready to be picked. I felt that two Fridays ago when I went out with my guy friends to watch a movie and eat our dinner. I actually had mixed and matched different pieces and I feel like it was not working no matter how I wanted it to wear. I guess I was not prepared which was highly unlikely since I always plan my outfits days before the certain day it was needed. So I decided to dress down and just wear shorts and a top. But I made sure that the color will stand out!

DETAILS:
watch Gucci • gold on white shamballa bracelet c/o Cutey • studded bracelet c/o Reese & Taylor
bangle borrowed from my sister
earrings New Look

With the accessories, I risked it all by playing with pieces that has hints of red and balance it with neutral ones like black, gold and white.

I always loved the combination of blue and red together to make it somehow look nautical. So I matched the look with this bag since my shorts was also in the same hue.

Coincidentally, my mom told me that it was Red Day or Hearts' Awareness day that time and she wore red. I realized it only after seeing my mom that night in her red shirt. I somehow commemorated the day without me noticing it. But at least I was able to support it.
I think I would be definitely sporting red this year since I am so attracted to it. I hope to get myself more red pieces.
