Asprey Bloggers NightWednesday, May 23, 2012
Recently Manila's leading watchstrap brand Asprey threw in a party at Scarlet Lounge, the Fort and treated fashion industry's young bloggers (including me) for a night of fun!
So my sister, Airish and I arrived to the venue with our friend, Nigel right on time. We felt nervous, giddy and excited because it is our first time to attend a bloggers event. It was actually overwhelming. We felt like "Froshies" in a new school.
We got strapped as soon as we walked inside Scarlet Lounge.
We were requested to bring our old watches and trade the aged straps with new and fresher styles. So here's my sister's old watch with a very embarrassing strap.
It was definitely a "World of Straps." So many colors, texture and styles to choose from. I actually had a hard time choosing which ones to get because we were all entitled to get two straps even if you don't have a watch with you. How cool is that?
Here's my watch make-over!
We were also asked to participate in an online popularity game. We took photos and uploaded it in Asprey's facebook fan page. Six photos with the most number of like were awarded with watches from LTimestudio and a set of watchstraps from Asprey though we we were not able to take the winners photos.
But here's one of the watches that one of guests won.
Asprey's brand ambassadors were also introduced that night:
College Jock and Model Victor Pring,Kato Chua of Moonshine Garb,
and Myx VJs Joyce and Mike Advincula.
I was so happy that I was able to meet new people in that event. Here I am with THE JP Singson of JP on Fashion Speed, Austin and Airish.
With Rovie of The Bargain Doll. Finally I was able to meet her!
With THE Lissa Kahayon
With THE David Guison of DG Manila
Airish and I
Too bad I succumbed to my shyness that night that I wasn't able to mingle, approach and took a photo with the other bloggers I saw and met. But I promised myself that I will get shyness out of my system and will show my bubbly side on the next events I will be attending.
The event was great and successful!
Thank you Asprey, Ms. Cindy Cancio and Mr. Edd Matias for the invite!
