Little Red Riding Hood

Saturday, December 24, 2011

It was one of those days that I feel like I need some color in my life. You know, a little boost. And what is the perfect color to make a statement? Of course, a very wild and vibrant red. Remember my old post where I wore this eye-catching red pants? Well, red definitely catches attention. So I decided to wear this red, hooded dress I got from Thailand. It is very comfy and casual. The white part makes an illusion that you are wearing a tube or some inner but it's just a one piece dress.
What I wore: red dress bought in Bangkok • black wedges Forever 21 • violet New Gent Swatch
I actually wore this as a top for work but I removed the pants as soon as I got home to take some photos. I even wore sunglasses for this one. Anyhow, I added some vintage-looking, stacked bracelets, a violet watch and some rings to up a notch the outfit. I love the rich colors and how they look so alive in tho photo.

By the way, it's my first look that I styled my hair in a bun. Err... I am a newbie with this bun thing. I need more practice so forgive me. I didn't quite achieve the drama I was aiming for, which is the not-so-messy-but-not-so-neat bun.

I was boyish when I was a kid so I lack the "kikay" skills which every single girl perfected in an early age. I was content with a ponytail or a hairband. Buns, braids and clips are complicated for me at that age. But don't worry. I'm working on it.

Tata for now! I hope it was a very colorful and vibrant day for everyone!
